The exhaust's aesthetics and shape have been meticulously tailored to seamlessly blend with the bike, complemented by a sandblasted stainless-steel heatshield for protection and a laser-engraved Akrapovič logo on the muffler for a sophisticated appearance. Throughout the development process, engineers prioritized throttle response and overall ride quality, resulting in a performance boost of 0.9 kW (1.2 hp) in power and 1.6 Nm in torque at 6,200 rpm compared to a BMW R 12 nineT equipped with a standard exhaust system.
