The crankcase cover fixings that hold the exhaust on are M6 instead of the larger M8 on early casings. This will force you to trim the sharks fin bracket on the clubman to have clearance. Early engines were also fitted with a shorter cylinder (Only 3 cooling fins under the exhaust port rather than 4 for the later cylinders).
